“Funraisers”

Ssssh!!
These children who are 9-10 years old from form P5 at Letham Primary School in Angus in Scotland raised £170-00 in a sponsored silence . They were quiet for a whole 30 minutes every day for a week! Well done everyone and a huge thank you from lots of lovely kids in Romania !!
This is only the latest fundraiser. Through John and Barbara Hodgson, the school has been involved in raising money for Noreen’s work for the last 5 years. Thanks so much to all involved, you help to make it all possible.
St Andrew’s Day Ceilidh
The Evening went very well. There was an excellent turn out despite a very wet evening and we made a net profit of over £1400-00. Thanks to all who helped to make it such a success
We are particularly indebted to St Cassian’s Monastery who helped us to put on the evening and for the use their wonderful facilities.
It would be a great place to have a conference or a meeting in beautiful, peaceful surroundings but within easy reach of the railway (which comes to Kintbury.)
